Yes, actually, you can!  You can easily return books to any of our Watonwan County locations: St. James, Madelia, Butterfield, Lewisville and Darfur and they will be checked in immediately if they are from any library within the 9 county Traverse des Sioux Cooperative.  You can also return books that are outside of our 9 county area, such as an item ordered through MNLink.  Those items will also be checked in immediately as long as the white MNLink slip is retuned with the book.  If you return a book from outside our 9 county area that wasn’t ordered through MNLink, you can still return it to one of our libraries, however, we cannot check it in.  That item will remain checked out on your record until it makes its way through the courier systems and back to the home library.

You can place a hold on materials by visiting our online catalog, ASPEN.  You can also find a link to ASPEN on the home page by going to the Books, Movies and More tab and then clicking on “Search the Catalog”.

You can also ask a librarian to place a hold for you at your library.  Just be sure to have your library card with you!
